research i did research on how many people think board games stimulate the brain i took a group of 25 people and gave them a survey where they had to answer what they thought the results were 46% yes and 54% but i also asked them another question if why did you chose your answer and a lot of the people who said yes talked about candy land and other childish board games that are not stimulating any more and were based on chance and no actual skill and the people who said yes referenced chess and other strategy based games which tells me that it depends on the type of game so i went and i made a much bigger version of chess that is sort of a much large war based strategy game with allies enemy's and much
demonstrating understanding i played this game with a couple friends they were Ben, Alfredo and Sage we played for about 6 hours and it was super intensive i had to think how to manipulate my friend my pieces and my enemy's to give me the best outcome it was super hard i checkmated my friend Alfredo teamed up with Ben to kill sage who stayed on his board and made a huge defense and we created a super pawn factory back when there wasn't a two piece limit to it
bibliography i made my own survey and i never looked anything up i used all of my own original research i didn't use an online source or a book or anything i guess a teacher Mrs.Cragun helped me with figuring out how to say what i wanted but i did everything after that
journal log 11/16/15 was the first time i met with Mrs.Cragun for my Seinor project i started to plan it in paint
11/30/15 was the second time i met with Mrs.Cragun for my Seinor project i played a very rough copy of the game on some spare chess boards we had she then told me i needed to build a permanent board
2/5/16 was the third time we met for the Seinor project i had the materials and i needed to put them together
4/5/16 was the fourth time i have put all research together and i need to put the materials together and get paint and get a few more square pieces of cardboard for bridges
